1965 G.I. Joe Comic Book Advertisement

From a 1965 issue of the Batman comic comes this early ad for Hasbro’s original G.I. Joe action figures. What is most awesome of all is that the ad encourages kids to join the fan club which, as we learned in GI Joe: The Complete Story of America’s Favorite Man of Action*, was a major success for Hasbro at the time.
