1984 ToysRUs Ad Includes Dungeons & Dragons!
Fans of the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) who weren’t playing in the eighties may find this newspaper ad a little surprising. You see, back when this ToysRUs ad ran in 1984 the game was a bit of a fad, quite popular and generating a lot of attention.
I’ve no idea when we last saw ads for the game in newspapers, but this ad alone is enough to prove that things today aren’t anything like they were in the eighties.
