1985 Buddy L Robotron Pay ‘n Save Coupon

December 22, 1985. While searching through the newspaper archives and the Honolulu Star Bulletin, I ran across this ad block offering up the Buddy L Robotron toys for $1.99/each. I love that there’s a “limit 3” statement on the coupon; did they really enforce this limit, or did the store recognize that the age of cheap transforming robot toys was fading and they let customers buy as many as desired?
