1986 Newtons Fruit Chewy Mix-Up!
What makes this ad from issue #2 of the Animax comic most important to me is the fact that the ad alone triggers memories. If you were reading any Star or Marvel comics at all in 1986 then how can you not remember this Newtons Fruit Chewy Mix-Up advertisement? Life was way simpler back then; I can remember that I actually sat down and did the whole “unscramble the letters” thing with this ad back when the ad was new. Yeah, I was one of those kids.
