1993 ExoSquad Magazine Advertisement
Last week, while on the train from Casablanca to Marrakech, I took time to watch more episodes of the classic ExoSquad animated series (find at Amazon.com*). The show really holds up well, with the war theme coming through strong. I’m almost all of the way through season one. Now, where can I find the second season?
I’m not here to talk about the cartoon, though, because at the moment I’m sharing this 1993 advertisement for the Playmates ExoSquad toys. I love this ad design, with its fantastic photo of the E-Frames and just enough text to fire the imagination. It’s just too bad that the creation of ExoSquad led to BattleTech losing so many classic ‘mech designs.
