1997 BattleTech CCG Ad: “Kiss This.”

The April 1997 issue of The Duelist magazine (find at Amazon.com*) included this full-page advertisement for the BattleTech trading card game, promoting the release of the unlimited edition of the game for February of that year. If you’re unfamiliar with the CCG format that the BattleTech game followed, the release in November of 1996 was classified as the limited edition set. The unlimited set, which this ad focuses on, featured a green card border and some updated artwork; the limited cards have black borders.
