1997 Star Wars CCG Cloud City Expansion Advertisement

Decipher went through a few different advertisement designs for the Star Wars CCG during the nineties, with ads for the original game looking one way, later expansions another way, and then a series of advertisements that followed the design we see in this ad for the Cloud City expansion. I don’t think this design is as entertaining or striking as earlier designs — they seem to have forgotten that the big benefit of the license was the images — but it is fun to see how things evolved for the game’s marketing.
