Madballs and My Pet Monster Mallows at New York Toy Fair

Great end to the New York Toy Fair. All of my meetings for work went over great, and today I got lucky enough to chat with the guys over at Shocker Toys. I’d spent a little time with them a few days ago, but today I had enough time that we took a closer look at their Mallows toy line.

The Mallows are a neat design, but it’s the licenses that Shocker nabbed that has me excited. Madballs (Wikipedia and My Pet Monster (Wikipedia)! Yep, two classics in designer toy form. And they’re looking great!

And it doesn’t end there. I can’t say anything about it, but if Shocker gets their hands on a few potential licenses then thousands of fans of a classic toy line or two are gonna go ballistic. I hope they score these other licenses, because I’ll be right there ready to buy a few releases in the line.
