Review – uhoh Toys’ Brucine

Designer/Resin * Year: 2010

Back in January we took a look at Brucine (review here), uhoh Toys’ cute little resin toy that incorporates a paint bottle with sculpted elements and tiny little eyes. Well, the Super7 store recently had some pieces leftover from the Toxic Catalyst resin toy show (mentioned here) and I scored this new Brucine to add to my collection of resin toys.

I’m not sure if I have anything to say that wasn’t said in my earlier review, but there was no way I wasn’t going to get photos of this new colorway up on the site. And the two together (see the last pic) show just how bright these little toys are. Why do I never attempt colors like this? I think it’s a mental block that keeps me working with dull colors.

It’s Over, Go Home

There aren’t any Brucine toys over at the uhoh Toys webstore, but if you like the look of this guy then keep your eyes on the site. After all, it’s gotta be just a matter of time before a new colorway pops up.

And that’s it, guys. Enjoy the pics, and if you’ve got any questions just ask away. But with a little resin toy like this your best bet is the photos and checking out my earlier Brucine review.

Philip Reed admits that this isn’t much of a review, but since it’s so short you can spend more time looking at the pictures. And admit it, all you really care about are the photos.

  1. Thanks for the review Philip. There will be more Brucine colors soon. I’ll have a three pack available for DesignerCon this year.
