Spotted Online – Dog Face Junk

World War Robot* fans will want to take a peek at these Dog Face Junk miniatures that look a hell of a lot like the Bertie design (Bertie 7-pack review here). These are way, way too similar to be accident. They look very neat, and the pack of 5 bots for $35 doesn’t feel too bad. I’m kinda tempted to score a set to display with my World War Robot toys.

  1. I’m kind of curious what “white metal” is. And they are “multi-piece,” but are they articulated? Hard to tell.

  2. White metal is a catch-all term for low-temp casting metal used by manufacturers, typically for miniatures and model kit parts. As miniatures, I am sure they are not articulated. They are gorgeous, though, even if blatantly ‘inspired by’ WWR.

  3. Yeah, these are tiny gaming miniatures. Each is about 1.5-inches tall or so and unassembled. Putting these together and painting them isn’t a simple job.
