At 12-inches tall and $225, this new Winter Soldier polystone statue* from Bowen Designs looks like a great addition to any Captain America fan’s collection. Overall a fantastic-looking sculpt; if I have one complaint it’s with how the hair frames the face.
If you haven’t read the storyline with Winter Soldier then you’re missing out on some fun superhero storytelling. The Captain America Omnibus, Vol. 1* would have been a good place to start, but with the aftermarket prices on this thing you’re now better off grabbing the individual trades. Highly recommended reading if you’re a superhero fan.

What’s with the huge chin? I’ll have to pull my comic out but I think the 4″ figures have a better representation of this character. The upcoming Capt. Am. version should be a winner.
I don’t have a Marvel Universe Winter Soldier yet. The selection in Austin has been really spotty ands there are several figures I still haven’t seen.
And I missed that the Cap line was going to have a Winter Soldier. Completely different sculpt?
