Hell, have toy car prices stayed relatively stable for about forty years despite inflation?

  1. That’s a great gimmick. Something like that would of had me smashing my cars on purpose!

    I don’t know for sure, but I’m going to guess that the “Superfast” was Matchbox’s attempt to compete with Hot Wheels…but we all know how that battle ended.

  2. I suspect that increases in manufacturing capabilities (and, especially, overseas manufacturing) has had a LOT to do with keeping those prices “stable”…
