Transformers Collectors’ Club Runamuk

As announced earlier this year (mentioned here) next year’s Transformers Collectors’ Club (website, Twitter) exclusive figures include recreations of the classic Battlechargers Runabout and Runamuk.

Runabout (see the Transformers wiki) was the only Battlechargers toy I owned when I was a kid, and over the last few years I’ve been searching for a good Runabout toy for my collection. The springs in every single one that I have found have been shot, so I’ve yet to grab one. But I can assure you that next year I’ll get both of these new releases for my collection.

The wings on this new toy are a bit strange, but I’m pretty sure I can live with that slight deviation from the classic character design. The head design, though, shouldn’t include those eyes since the original Battlechargers has visor and not eyes. Still, it’s minor and not something that will stop me from grabbing both of these toys.
