Spotted Online – Figma Saber (Armored Version) Review

Fate/Stay Night (Wikipedia) is completely unknown to me, but this Figma Saber (Armored Version)* looks like another great action figure in the Figma series . . . and the review at Hobby Hovel gives us enough photos of the toy to make it look quite tempting.

But the review isn’t completely flattering, actually going so far as to not recommend the toy. It sounds like the biggest problem is the way in which the armored skirt obstructs the toy’s articulation. Too bad, because the photos make it look fantastic. But I guess that in the end the review is actually quite useful, because I suspect many people (myself included) would want to order this based solely on the photos.

  1. Saber was one of the earliest Figmas out there and compared to the newer ones like Strength, she’s not quite as perfect. However she still is incredibly good for static pictures and what not and is still a great piece. Personally I really like the evil version they did of her just earlier this year: Saber Alter. Saber Lily is pretty cool too although she’s kind of hard to get a hold of.
