Kickstarter – Futuredaze YA Sci-Fi Anthology
We’re one year from publication, but only six days away from the close of the Futuredaze project on Kickstarter. Intended to be a collection of sci-fi stories for the young adult market, Futuredaze has met its goal and the project will close successfully this coming weekend. I know a year is a long way to wait for what is basically a pre-ordered book, but I still went ahead and backed since I’d like to encourage anyone who wants to create sci-fi stories for the young adults out there. And besides, I’m likely to enjoy some of the stories myself.
Futuredaze is an anthology of YA science fiction for teens, young adults, and the young at heart. The anthology will feature fiction and poetry that sparks the imagination, twists the heart, and makes us yearn for the possibilities of a world yet to come. At a time when every other YA book features vampires, werewolves or other fantastical creatures, Futuredaze will be an anthology for the next generation of science fiction readers.
