Spider-Man Toys and Trading Cards in Mexican Cereals

I’ve started a Mexican Cereal Spider-Man Toys set at Flickr so that I can get the photos I shot online for everyone to enjoy. As usual, the cereals here in Cancun have much cooler toys and goodies in the boxes than we get in the US, and with the new Spider-Man movie it should come as no surprise that there are cool Spider-Man toys in some cereal boxes.

And yes, I bought a box. I’ll open it soon so I can see which toy I got.

Update: I opened the box and there was no toy. Is it a mail away offer?

  1. It reads “sòlo en cines” which could mean you get 1 figure at the cinema when buying your ticket. To make sure you go.

  2. here i want to have a “delete comment” option – – – tried to transcript the back of the box but it seems like you can only get them by turning in some points (anything on there with a cutout line?). Seems it can be made directly at the market you bought it, but not sure how it works. Maybe you have to cut points from 3 boxes of cereals and then “you can get 1 figure (of 4) and 3 special Spiderman cards (out of 24) at participating markets/stores”.

  3. Ralph, thanks! That sounds way more complicated than I can manage; I know enough Spanish to order a taco and then find the restroom. Exchanging points for a Spider-Man toy is way outside of my abilities.

  4. Appears it’s one thing or another, you may get a card, you may get a figure, like a grab bag.
