Spotted Online – Battle Beasts Triple Threat Snake Review at 16bit.com

Over the years I’ve only reviewed three classic Battle Beasts toys — War Weasel, Ferocious Tiger, and Killer Carp — which means that out of the 700+ reviews at the site I’ve actually given you very little Battle Beasts joy. Sorry about that, but there are only so many hours in the day.

What I can do, though, is direct you at this Triple Threat Snake review. Released in the first wave of Battle Beasts toys back in 1987, this design looks quite fun and, as Adam says in his review, if this were made today as a vinyl toy several of us would be all over it.

Actually, that now makes me wish two things would happen:

  1. Hasbro would secure the Battle Beasts trademark.
  2. Gentle Giant would then licence with Hasbro to take the same approach they took with the Jumbo Vintage Star Wars action figures (Amazon.com search*) and create upsized classic Battle Beasts toys. Say six inches tall.

Neither of those seem all that likely to happen.
