Man of Steel Twizzlers and Cheez-It Display

Maybe I’m just old and cranky, but I fully expect the upcoming Man of Steel movie to be bad and to bomb in theaters next month. I’m sorry, but everything I’ve seen for the movie does not inspire me with confidence. Now I’m not expecting a Green Lantern level bomb, but nothing I’ve seen makes me think the movie will be a success.

Which makes things like the Twizzlers and Cheez-It display all the more amazing to me. It’s probably a great thing for Hollywood that I’m not in a position to vote up or down on these sorts of licensed promotions; Hollywood would lose a lot of licensing money because few films look (to me) worth backing.
