Quick Pics – Dr. Wu Vanguard and Rear Guard Seeker Weapon Upgrades
I just shared photos of one unofficial Transformers Seeker upgrade a few days ago (posted here), but as my sequel to Transforming Collections* comes together I find myself with more photos than I can use in the new book . . . so here’s a few more Transforming Expectations page samples and a batch of new photos that won’t make it into the new book.
I got my Vanguard and Rear Guard sets from site sponsor TFSource and if you grab only one pack I recommend the Rear Guard set. These replacement weapons are much nicer than the Hunger pack.
On a side note, Transformers Seekers fans who don’t have all six of the classic characters in Hasbro’s current Seeker mold could do a lot worse than to order the Transformers United Seekers: Aces* and Transformers United Seekers: Elites* box sets.

I’ve been contemplating the Rear Guard set, I really want the Dirge and Ramjet weapons.
But it’s been bothering me ever since first pics of these were revealed, why did they give Ramjet’s weapons to Dirge? It doesn’t matter, of course, I can put them on whichever I want, but why the change? did they not look at the G1 figure, or they just like it better this way?
@ryanlb – I’ll have to try swapping the weapons around and see how much it changes the look of the toys.
