Castle Grayskull is Coming!
Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics series (Amazon.com search*) is just about to get ridiculous. E-mail this weekend included a notice from Matty Collector that should have every Masters of the Universe fan scrambling to find space for the giant playset.
We are writing you to remind you that your pre-order for the Castle Grayskull playset will be shipping soon. At that time, your credit card will be charged the total amount for your order, including the associated tax and shipping.
Fantastic! But where am I going to set this up? My dreams of finishing the game room before the playset arrives were obviously just dreams since there was no time to even start the game room project. It’s sad, but the only answer I see for now is that the box goes to the storage unit and the toy is unloved . . . at least until there’s time to gut and redesign the game room here at home.

The fact that I feel no jealousy nor regret that I’m not getting one of these shows just how far out of obsession I’ve fallen with MOTUC. Still, the set looks good, much better than it did at some points during production. Like you, though, I have no idea where I’d put it even if I did get one.
