Star Wars Artists Team Up to Bring “A New Hope” to Children This Christmas

A press release from The Big Toy Auction landed in my mail and points out an incredible project I had never heard of before. The ArTmor Project takes Star Wars Mandalorian chest armor and adds some fun to the design as various artists have customized the three distinctive chest plates.

The live auction is Sunday, November 24, but right now you can see the designs and participate in the online auction. There are some fantastic designs, but my favorite has to be this Skeletor chest painted onto the armor.

Where’s the book collecting all of these art pieces? I’ll take one, please.
