Amazing Heroes Action Figures Coming to Kickstarter
Fresh Monkey Fiction has shared a teaser for the upcoming Amazing Heroes action figure series. 4.5-inch figures coming to Kickstarter, the first of which is the Golden Age Black Terror. I immediately recognized the character as one of those classic supervillains that fell into the public domain (see Wikipedia) so now I’m wondering if the other figures in the line are all Golden Age characters.

Black Terror is actually a golden age hero, not a villain. The Super Wizard listed there is certainly Stardust BTW. The Avenging Hero is probably the Golden Age Daredevil. I’m not sure on the identity of the fourth one.

4.5″? Is that a standard size action figure?
Not sure if these feel vintage or stylized. Not crazy about a cloth cape either. Still, I might be able to be convinced to get behind them.
Keep those guesses coming guys, I’m super excited about the reveals in the next few weeks. I think you’ll be pretty happy with what we have cooking.
The 4.5″ scale mimics the scale of the figures that this series plays homage to, plus a few other lines that came out in the mid 80s and early 90s.
The cloth/plastic cape debate is a tough one. We chose the cloth as we felt it was closer to the lines that we love’d from the 80s.
