1982 Revell Power Lords Ad
If you were reading comic books in the early eighties it was tough to avoid this Power Lords ad. I can’t even begin to guess how many comics carried this ad — if felt like all of them had this on the back cover for at least a year — but history shows us that despite the ad buys the series just never took off with enough kids for it to survive.
One thing this ad does is make me wish that the Power Lords Return website would add a section for advertisements. Please, please, please make that happen. It would be fun to have a central location for any and all of the Revell Power Lords ads.
