What if you took Daft Punk’s “Tron Legacy” soundtrack and gave it to John Carpenter in 1981?

Normally you would need a time machine to grab the 2011 Daft Punk Tron Legacy* soundtrack and transport it back in time to John Carpenter in 1981, but with the release of two albums by Dance With the Dead — Out of Body* and “Into the Abyss” — you can instead get the same effect right now.

Examples? Well, how about this track, “Blind,” to start?

You want more? How about we give “Fracture” a listen . . .

And you cannot miss “Thrasher” if you want some real fun . . .

I feel I’ve done my part. Enjoy!

  1. @Talyn – Glad you liked them. You can stream both albums online for free. I did that for about a day and then paid the $5/each to download the MP3s.
