Legends of Cthulhu Press Assets

Now this is one hell of an impressive Kickstarter project. The Legends of Cthulhu project page isn’t the only part of the Warpo Kickstarter project that’s professional: check out their press page for a look at how it should be done.

Everyone who ever runs a Kickstarter project (and I mean all of us on the planet) could learn a lot by looking at both the Warpo press page and the Kickstarter project page. I know I’ll be thinking of this and trying hard to match its level of professionalism whenever I’m next involved in planninhg and launching a Kickstarter project.

  1. These guys seem like a real class act. I frequently get annoyed when I go to look for a project web site and it directs me right to the Kickstarter. It’s nice to have a web site as a central hub containing all of the information you need right there, and of course multiple links to the KS so you can go fund it!

  2. I just discovered this Kickstarter roughly 30 minutes ago and I am blown away by it all. The artwork by Ken Kelly (whom I just saw at Eternal Con yesterday oddly enough) the old-style sculpting, the catalog pics, the cardbacks, t-shirts, cup, VHS tape…I’m just blown away by how perfectly the nailed everything. Seeing new properties done up in the style from that time period is a great idea and despite lacking as much articulation as modern toys have, there is a certain charm to it all that makes it work. I plan on getting these figures, as they all are awesome, and hope we get to see this line expand with more figures, maybe even vehicles, larger Lovecraftian monsters or even a playset.
