1984 Star Wars: The Arcade Game Commercial (Home Edition!)

This commercial could only have come from the eighties — just look at the hair! — but don’t get too excited, kids, because this is for the home edition of the game and not the actual arcade game that I would still love to own.

What is most surprising to me is that back in the eighties Star Wars was still a big enough property to get commercials like this after the movies were in theaters. These days you pretty much need a movie out at this exact moment for anyone to sink money into a commercial. Times have certainly changed in thirty years.
