Spotted Online – Transformers Generations Cliffjumper Review at The Fwoosh
A Bumblebee repaint, the new Transformers Generations Cliffjumper* is starting to get a little easier to find in stores. I saw the toy last week when I was in Canada, and now I’m seeing it again as canonball shares with us his Cliffjumper review at The Fwoosh. The review’s a little harsh with lines like:
“The artwork on the card is awesome and that’s the Cliffjumper I want. Of course, that’s not the Cliffjumper I got. The problem with these repaint figures, like Gears, is the card is selling the figure we want, but the figure in the blister does not match up with the figure we want.”
Ouch! But I cannot really say this is wrong, it just feels a bit like kicking Hasbro right where it hurts. Still, I can agree that a new head and a new frontend for the vehicle mode would have gone a long way to making this Cliffjumper its own design.
