2002 Ad for the Hellboy Sourcebook and Roleplaying Game
Here’s an ad from a 2002 issue of Hellboy that’s especially close to my heart. Why’s that? Because I was Creative Director on the Hellboy Sourcebook and Roleplaying Game* and spent several months during that year working with the authors, artists, and staff to make this book as beautiful and fun as we could possibly pull off. I feel we were a complete success, and even today I can look back a dozen years after the game hit stores and be proud of what we created.
Icing on the cake is this comment from a review posted at Amazon* where the reviewer praises the graphic design of the book. Considering how many hours I spent in QuarkXPress constructing the pages I’ll take this as a personal compliment.
