Quick Pics – Minicar Night-Jumper

night-jumper

From the Impossible Toys “Final Product Exclusive” limited edition threepack (available now at BBTS) comes the Minicar Night-Jumper transforming robot toy. A black and red take on Cliffjumper, the Night-Jumper toy is clearly an homage to K.I.T.T. when in vehicle mode. And that leaves me with one question:

Why didn’t they name this toy “Knightjumper” and embrace the K.I.T.T.-like look of the car?

Limited!

As you can see by the tag — unlike the basic run robots, the toys in this pack are each bagged with a header card — this was limited to 100 pieces, meaning that the toys still being available at BBTS shows just how much Impossible Toys has fallen. It’s a shame, because these 1984 Minibot-inspired unofficial Transformers toys are fun enough that all 100 sets should have sold out almost immediately.

Don’t Miss the Others!

Night-Jumper is now the eighth release in this series to appear at battlegrip.com, so I suggest you look at the earlier posts and these pics. Trust me, across all of these posts there should be enough info about the designs for you to already know exactly how you feel about the toys.
