1998 Ad for the Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Cookie Jar
From a 1998 issue of Star Wars Insider (Amazon.com search*) comes this full-page ad for a collectible that I am sure many of us never asked for: The official Obi-Wan Kenobi cookie jar!
Huh? Okay, but the $275 price tag in 1998 was obviously a bit too high because one quick search on Amazon.com and I found the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cookie Jar* priced at $299, just $25 more than it was new sixteen years ago.
Remember, kids, not all collectibles are truly all that collectible.
