1987 Transformers Rollbar Packaged
Yesterday this still-packaged Transformers Rollbar arrived, just barely squeezing its way onto the table of contents page of my new book. I posted a review of Rollbar a few years ago (review here), but having this still-sealed pack with the Decoy inside is awesome. I’m gonna have to display this with my collection of Throttlebots.

Love these Decoys in particular. As a kid I used to have a green robot dimetrodon, which I think came from a slot/vending machine, which has left me with a huge fondness for small rubbery robots, common in the 80s and 90s but sadly rare now. Best guess it was some kind of Zoids bootleg, but I can’t find it online anywhere. I would give an awful lot to be able to track down a replacement, or even to find the original again somewhere at my folk’s place.
