35 Years of Diaclone

This remarkable fan artwork was posted to Facebook and reminds us all that Diaclone — one of the ancestor toylines to the original Transformers toys of the eighties — turns 35 this year. 35 years old and I don’t own more than a single book about the Diaclone series? There’s a flaw in the world of collectibles and books!

The artwork is amazing! I hope that we see more from this artist very soon.

  1. The post you linked to was in reply to a share of the original tweet which credited the source. 🙂

It comes from Takeshi Nakamura’s Twitter: http://t.co/DS6WZD131P

The translation of his tweet is:

“While the development of Transformers will have its 30th anniversary this Summer, this year also marts the 35th anniversary of the founding of Diaclone. So I proceeded to draw this.”

    1. @microbry – Thanks for the extra link!!!

I’ll be over here enjoying this artwork. Actually, you’re the expert in this field: Do you know if there are any plans for a Diaclone book?
