The game inside this 1981 Ares issue was DeltaVee, a space combat game for SPI’s Universe roleplaying game. I don’t own the game, I haven’t bothered reading the rules for this particular article, and all I’m doing at the moment is sharing this artwork because it’s so gloriously retro. That’s an awesome starship design! Check out the turrets on the two wing-like thruster appendages. Love this design!
