Spotted Online – A G.I. Joe Movie Zartan Action Figure I Want
As much as I disliked the G.I. Joe movie (my thoughts are here), I’ve gotta say that this upcoming Desert Battle Zartan action figure has to join my G.I. Joe collection.

The Terror Drome has posted photos of this new Zartan that has a strong resemblance to the original Zartan of the eighties. You know him as the Zartan in this classic commercial:
Looks like Zartan has a ton of great accessories in addition to the face makeup and hood. Now if only he had a “desert skier” vehicle to make him perfect.

Now I have to wonder if the new Zartan also has sun-changing colors. Heh. Come to think of it, that might not be so useful for a “Master of Disguise” in the desert. Hmm. The movie Joe toys were so hit or miss, but when they worked they really worked. I hope this is one of them.

The movie toys have either looked awesome or terrible; I haven’t really encountered any that are in between those two extremes. And this Zartan falls on the awesome side of the line.

I stopped buying new Joes well before the film came out, but this is a must-own!
