Arco “The Other World” Fighting Sets at ToysRUs in 1984
One of the challenges of exploring the Google newspaper archives is that some of the pages are sideways in their system. For example, pages in this 1984 newspaper would be easy to miss if you didn’t stop and study each carefully, which is exactly what I did to uncover this ad for the Arco The Other World line at ToysRUs many years ago.

The Other World is one of those toylines I didn’t really appreciate in my youth. I’d love to be able to get my hands on a bunch of them now, especially at that price.
