“G.I. Joe Action Sets” on Sale in 1982

It turns out that G.I. Joe newspaper ads of the eighties are a lot tougher to uncover than the Star Wars ads of the same era. The toys were popular as hell for years, but it just seems that the ads are less common when I explore the Google Newspaper Archives. Still, this particular ad from 1982 is remarkable enough to brighten my Monday.
