“Huge Assortment of Transformers” in 1985
This December 20, 1985, newspaper ad from the Gibson’s stores doesn’t show much in the way of artwork, but the promise of Transformers toys for $7.33/each — along with that Hound artwork — makes me think the ad is specifically about the Autobot cars. And hey, who doesn’t want 1985 Autobot cars for $7.33/each these days?
