Incredible 1983 Newspaper Ad for Kenner’s Star Wars Toys
This 1983 TG&Y newspaper page gives us an amazing look at the last year that Kenner’s Star Wars action figures and vehicles really carried any weight at retail. The Scout Walker, Y-Wing, and Chewbacca Bandolier Strap are only some of the toys shown on this ad which, if I am understanding that properly, was originally in color. It’s just too bad that those Google newspaper archives don’t offer up these old ad pages in color.
