Kenner Star Wars Imperial Shuttle at Wal-Mart in 1984
I shared the Imperial Shuttle commercial a few years ago, but as awesome as those old Kenner toy commercials are, it is tough for them to compete with newspaper ads. You see, many of us saw those commercials when we were kids, but the newspaper ads like the one on p. 4 of this 1984 paper are a bit more exciting because they are new to many of us. And hey, what kid wouldn’t be excited, even today, by Kenner’s Star Wars Imperial Shuttle toy in any form?
