December 15, 1979. One thing about working on a sequel to Collect These Figures and Accessories* is that it gives me an excuse to go day by day by day through the archives. Fortunately, there are enough surprising in those old newspapers that I find a piece of gold every dozen or so times I search. Tedious? At times, yes. But also highly rewarding when I find stuff like this.
