Kenner’s 1982 Star Wars Pack-In Catalog and Action Figure Carrying Cases
As I mentioned yesterday, I’ve made some good progress on my book about action figure carrying cases and continue to dig through the archives here for any info I can find on the cases of the past. Kenner’s Star Wars cases are the most common designs in my numerous toy-related paperwork, and that includes the below page from the 1982 Star Wars pack-in catalog.
What’s especially cool is that the small collectors case shown on this page has different artwork than the one shown yesterday. Kenner made four different Star Wars vinyl carrying cases between 1979 and 1983, and two of those are Empire Strikes Back designs. And yes, I have both and have photographed both for my book.
