ManTech Warriors and Robo Force at Playland Toy Stores
December 5, 1984. Turn to page 20 of this issue of the Gainesville Sun for a Playland Toy Stores ad that offers up two failed lines: The Remco ManTech warriors and Ideal’s Robo Force. Both were fun little toylines, but both also failed to capture an audience and died quickly. The eighties gave us a lot of original toylines, but many of them didn’t survive into the nineties.
World, I’m starting to think we need a big book of eighties action figures. Someone make that for me.
I had two Mantech figures as a kid. Before the internet/google, I always got them confused with Centurions.
