Mattel’s Krusher Growing Monster

December 13, 1980. I’m unfamiliar with some of the stranger, one-off toys of the seventies and eighties, so this newspaper ad for the Krusher toy caught my eye because it’s something I’m unfamiliar with. This is a strange type of toy, and a quick search for it led me to this blog post with pics and info. Nifty design, but not so cool that I need one.
