Spotted Online – Freeway Fighter Article in Comic Heroes Magazine

The 1985 Freeway Fighter game book of the eighties (find at Amazon.com*, Wikipedia) is coming to comics! We saw a piece of artwork from the new comic series back in July, and now we get a peek at a bit of how the comic came to be in this Facebook post by the writer of the comic, Andi Ewington.

What’s most important about this article? Well, finding out that the first issue of the comic is set for release in May is pretty damn important information. Up until this point the comic’s schedule was a mystery to me, but now I know to start keeping an eye open for pre-orders. I tend to wait and buy collections, but for this, I’ll try to buy single issues and show some support for the book right up front. After all, if the story is fun then we will want more of these.
