Transformers in Super 7 Issue 2
I mentioned last week that Super 7 had done something amazing and released their old magazine issues online for free. This is an amazing resource for anyone who loves toys, whether designer or not, and while going through the magazine’s second issue I ran across this short Transformers article that introduces us to the brand’s history.
Now all of this may be old news to you, but unless you’re someone who has dug deep into the Transformers brand it would be easy to miss that the toys came from Japan. What I especially love is that the article follows the path from G.I. Joe to Transformers, making this a deeper history lesson than simply saying Diaclone became Transformers. A great read!
