Transformers Pretenders at Kay Bee Toys in 1988
Isn’t it strange how one random discovery leads to another which then continues leading you until you’re lost in an unexpected rabbit hole? Well, after yesterday’s toy ad I went in search of Transformers Pretenders ads from the eighties and soon located this Kay Bee Toys ad from ’88. This Pittsburgh Press newspaper page also shows Boglins and Army Ants, but I refuse to keep following leads and leave it to one of you to explore the Google newspaper archives for those two toy lines.
Hey, I’ve gotta protect myself every now and then. If I simply kept following the random things I find online I’d never get anything finished.
