Here’s a quick one minute video giving you an idea of what goes into turning a newspaper ad in the Google newspaper archives into a useable image. You can see the final images from the video in this post. It’s not a complicated process, just one that eats a lot of time. Especially if it’s a large advertisement and if you want the final image to be large enough for print.
