1980 Kenner Trade Catalog and the Strawberry Shortcake Carrying Case
Out of the 1980 Kenner trade catalog — most likely distributed at Toy Fair that year — comes this full-page featuring the Strawberry Shortcake carrying case. There’s lots of other great Strawberry Shortcake inside the catalog, but since my current book project is focused on carrying cases it felt fitting that I share this particular page. Only Kenner’s designers could have invented such an imaginative carrying case . . . and the rest of the Strawberry Shortcake line is as incredible as the big plastic strawberry case!
