1981 Top Secret Roleplaying Game Ad
Since I already had the magazine sitting on the scanner I thought it would be fun to share this 1981 ad for TSR’s Top Secret roleplaying game (Amazon.com search*). From the back cover of the June, 1981 issue of Fantastic Films magazine (Amazon.com search*), this ad reminded me of how much fun I had playing the Top Secret game in the mid-eighties. I only played the original version of the game, and now that I think about it I don’t own a copy of the game. That feels somehow wrong of me.
Are roleplaying games still advertised in non-gamer magazines?

Wow, I remember playing this one! Top Secret and the Marvel roleplaying games are the ones we played after moving past D&D all those ages ago.
