There is no doubt in my mind that if you’re shopping for a toy car fan for Christmas this year then you should grab one of these Hot Wheels Car Design products that are out there now. The Hot Wheels Car Design series (available at Amazon.com*) is a simple idea — a tablet of car frames with stencils — but it’s a fantastic one since it lets anyone customize their own toy car illustrations.
These have been in our local HEB for a few weeks now and every time I walk through the Hot Wheels section I stop and stare at these books. And then I start thinking Hasbro should do the exact same thing for Transformers toys . . .
